This item is used and has plenty of scuff marks and wear. However it is still quite functional and sturdy. A new bag will run you at least $100.00. This is the only used one I have seen. This bag should have years of use left in it. The only major defect is a hole about 1/4" x 1/4" near the bottom on one side. Estex Product Details from website: 2117 series tool bags are wider than other bags and are made from canvas or heavy vinyl coated nylon which is water resistant and also very resistant to abrasion. The bottom is made from molded polymer plastic which gives additional water resistance. The 2" web handles wrap completely around the bag. This is a vintage set of pole climbing equipment. The leather belt is 5" wide with some tool pouches& measures about 43" from the outside edge of the buckle to the last hole on the tongue strap& has heavy duty hardware. The Bashlin safety strap is 1 5/8" wide& looks to be more of a canvas with heavy duty snap locks. I believe the climbing spikes are also Bashlin but hard to make out the markings. They are about 17" long with good points& upper leather but missing the bottom strap. This set came from an estate sale& he was a retired from the phone co. I used some saddle soap on the leather but it's still old& a little stiff.

Really nice set of all collectable tools that all work. No issues, nothing broken or bent and the Leather Bag is in awesome shape. The leather is extra heavy duty, looks like 10oz size leather. It's stamped 5118 C J2. Both the Orange handle needle nose and long arm cutters are Pittsburg. The Crimpers are not marked but im sure these are USA. The Wire Cutters Pliers are Benard Schollhorn. These are the parallel opening jaws that have the wire grove on each jaw.The big Aligator pliers, the ones you see every electrician carry are marked and these too are in very good shape. The Wire cutters that are angle cut diangle are very clean, also marked USA and are for cutting wire leaving a certian size, very handy. The spool is a Klein 27400 and it's for pulling wire. It works great, spins, ... morenothing wrong with it but thats all i know about this thing, it has belt loops and i did take it apart to make sure it was up to snuff. I ship quick. Lightly used climbing belt w strap. Both in very good condition. Aluminium tag reads Klein-Buhrke, Model 5228, Serial 54357, Date Mfg 1-70. Although this is an older belt, it is very well made and has been kept in great condition. Well padded with heavy duty ring and clips. Leather is still solid but pliable, stitching and rivets are all tight. Please view all my photos and you'll see how nice this belt is. Fastened in the outer hole, waist belt measures 45" around the inside and can be used up to 8 1/2" smaller- 36 1/2" at tightest hole. Previous owner has added an extra hole between the first and second tightest holes. Looks like previous owner has cut off two leather tabs of some sort that would have hung at lower left and right on the belt(see photos) Pole strap is 1 ... more3/4" wide heavy reinforced nylon( and is shown at 52" total length with lots of adjustment left in either direction. If you need me to be more specific as to length adjustments please ask. Heavy duty hooks/closures, all rivets are tight and I see no cuts or worn spots. Metal strap at end is marked Klein& Sons 5295 with an issue date of 2-77(1977) Although this is an older set, I see nothing that would keep it from being as safe as anything made today.
