You are Bidding on Miller 625 Xtreme Plasma Cutter With XT40 Torch. THIS UNIT DOES NOT WORK, AND IS NEED OF REPAIR OR USE FOR PARTS. I dropped this unit from 3-4 feet off a ladder while I was cutting. I took it into Hohenchilds Welder Service repair and they said it would need a circuit board which is 900.00 dollars and 100.00 dollars to put it in. The torch is fine as are other pieces and parts, I tried to take picture of the DAMAGED BOARD if you need closer pics let me know if some you know is handy at circuit board repair I think this could a cheap fix. This is a Hobart plamsa cutter. Model AirForce 750. It is not in good working order. It will not maintain an arc. Tried a whole new torch/whip assembly(being sold separately) but this did not fix the problem. Someone who knows how to work on this may be able to figure out the problem. Please note that the torch/whip that comes with this will be the OLD one, not the new one which is in the picture. The old one has had many wires spliced inside the torch, but it did work the last time the machine worked.

This torch is practically brand new. I bought it thinking that our old torch was the problem with our plamsa cutter. But it was not. This torch was only tried a few times before we put the whole machine in storage. It was left on the machine and moved around in storage for about a year(unused) so there are some minor scuffs and dirt on the outside. There is only one substantial scrape in the outside insulation(see picture) but it is deffinitely not thru the insulation. This should be in perfect working order with almost unused consumables in it. I bought this for $500, they retail for much more.

This Plasma torch has been discontinued from Thermal Dynamics along with the Torch head and Cable set and is becoming hard to find. I have made one repair to the cable going into the handle do to a cut in the cable insulation but not into to conductors inside.
