The metal part that normally points straight out from the machine is curled up as shown. The pressure gauge on the tank is not set to zero. So I don't know if it's working properly or not. I am unable to test the tank and other parts. So I don't know how well it works. I don't see any damage to anything that would specifically prevent it from being used. I can hear something sloshing around in the tank, so I don't think the tank leaks. We will drain it before shipment. Physically. Red Devil 5400 Double Arm Paint Shaker with Pedestal Base. Unit was purchased at our local university surplus auction. And glued to the floor in some physical plant building, and that's where it sat until the school decided it didn't need it any more. Usually these items are covered with paint from years of use. I did not find one drop of paint on it! It looks/works great. It is a double arm model but it has been modified to hold 2 cans on each side. I don't know if this is a factory option or if the school had them made. At any rate they are held on by 4 bolts on each side- easily removed if not desired. This unit was removed from an experimental paint system and has seen very little use. I cannot find a model anywhere. There is some residual paint in both of the units but they were used mixing catalytic paint so none of the paint is solidified and should easily flush out.
