The base has 5169 carved into the wood. The wooden base measures just over 7" x 7" We were told that it is a resister balancer for welding wire. CONDITION: The parts turn/move. One of the grooved cylinders has tiny pieces of some substance in the grooves. Comes off with a fingernail, not sure what it is. The side edges of the wood has some white paint spots, the holes where the piece was screwed down has some wear on the wood. For auction is a vintage Union Carbide type RC-4 Argon& CO2 ratio controller with both vertical and horizontal flow meters. This was removed from a service station that shut down over a decade ago. It remains untested and is sold in as is condition. The CO2 valve opens and closes smoothly but the Argon side seems frozen. I have not tried to force it as I do not want to damage it, clearly needs a rebuild. I personally would rebuild both side to be safe. Shows expected wear from shop use.
