These hoists are portable. Strong and can be used in any orientation. The design of these hoists allow for a virtual unlimited lift or pull. The limit of which is determined only by the length of wire rope inserted into it. I didn't unspool the cable but I measured a circle and multiplied it by the number of layers I think it's 40 to 50 feet but can't swear to it. Cable appears to be close to 1/2" in diameter. The Griphoist uses clamping jaws to pull the wire much like a human pulling a piece of rope. With hand over hand. Much more reliable than a winch or chainfall. Tool is very clean as you should be able to see in closeups. I did not take it apart and I understand they need to be lubricated inside from time to time. 2004 Genie SLA-15 superlift in good condition. This super lift has 32" long adjustable forks. This lift can lift 15' high and can be easily folded up for storage. When it it folded up for storage it measures 78" high. 31" wide and 29" long. The base is adjustable and can adjust from 31" wide to 58" wide. It weights about 350 pounds and can be moved around easily. Maximum load capacity is 800 pounds at 18" load center. This is in very good lightly used condition. New it sells for over $3000.
