This is a Parallign Installer seam clamp by Monument Toolworks. It has been used but is in good shape and works fine. These are the actual pictures of the tool. So you get exactly what you see. Note I have the literature on the pump and the clamp. These clamps are a real time saver for anyone who does solid surface fabrication. Seams are quickly opened or closed just by turning the spring loaded cam via the"T" handle. This system provides speedy and powerful clamping with a minimum amount of effort. Each pod pulls down with about 275lbs on the two surfaces. You can even use it on vertical seams. I have a SP4 Parallign Standard Seam Clamp for solid surface that has been used but in good working order. These units have no motor it simply uses either shop air or a small portable air compressor plugged into the manifold block to convert compressed air into the vacuum needed for clamping. One air connection at 90 psi placed inside the box is all that is needed to have 4 powerful sets of pods ready to use. These clamps develop about 275 lbs per pod. A twist of the spring loaded cam pulls the seam together and finishes the job. I have tested it. Hooked up to air and everything works fine. Used Locking Plier/Tool Lot. 5 VISE GRIP& 1 CRAFTSMAN Up for bids is a group of used Vise Grip& 1 Craftsman locking pliers. All of these do show signs of use(rust. Pitting, nicks, dings, etc. but most seem to work decent. The 5 on the left side in the 1st pic are Vise Grip brand. They all adjust. Open, and close like they should, but have been well used, as you can see. 4 of them are 10" and one is a 7" The one on the far left has a couple short rods welded to the inside of the jaws. These are clamps used in the construction of a Van's RV-7A. Six of them are very large Pony brand#3203. Two are Pony brand#3202. These are in average shape. A little surface rust on some but not all. Dusty but the rubber tips all look in good shape. For the black clamps, 2 are extra large, 2 large, 3 medium, 3 small and 4 extra small. Here are 8 vise grip pliers or clamps that are from the toolkit used to build a nice Van's RV-7A. There is surface rust on most as will happen in most of the humid US. Four are Vise Grip brand. Two small, one medium plus the duckbill looking one. The other four including the really large one are not Vise Grip brand but marked China. All seem to open and close fine. I had to remove the adjuster screw from the big one to get it to fit in the box. I taped it to the handle but look for it before throwing away the packing. NOTE: To friends of Peter and Chapter 958.
