Up for sale is a used but good air conditioning condensing unit. It's a 2-1/2 ton unit, its an R-22 unit, its been properly stored since i removed it from service in leu of a more efficient system, i brazed the lines closed And left a small amount of refrigerant in the system and locked it down with the service valves in order to keep the system clean and undamaged internally. This Is a perfectly functional unit and it did not have excessive run time on it, i originally installed it and i removed it so i know the history of the unit. This unit is being used to cool a garage. But has developed a problem. It now comes up with a Code 3 and 4, and will then shut down on a Code 12. I called a dealer to get some help, but they couldn't help over the phone. The discharge temp and return air sensors still display the correct degrees, but the codes will not clear. I live to far away from any service center and would just like to sell the unit. The unit will start and run, it cooled before this new problem. Please e-mail and I will answer any questions, will also give a phone number if needed. The back panel has been modified slightly to hook up duct work going into the garage, but nothing serious. Pick up only and is being sold as is. I have a small crane truck to load the unit.

I bough this unit to try and cool a garage. The garage is 2000 square feet and appears to be a bit to large for this machine. The back panel is modified so that I could duct the air into the garage but can be fixed easily. While using it to cool the garage it will maintain a temperature differential of 13.5 degrees. Has no trouble codes while running except code 50 which is only for the time and date. I unhook the battery when not using the unit so I don't bother setting it any more. This unit has a screw compressor instead of the normal recip compressor. The engine is a yanmar diesel. The side panels are a little beat up but could be straightened, also some of the hardware was missing that hold the panels tight to the unit also.
