This auction is for a vintage Cardinal Brand One Gallon Galvanized Gas/Kerosene Can. It is in pretty good shape for its age. I think. It does have a bit of dirt and patina, and could use a good cleaning. The blue paint around the top and bottom is a little flaky in spots, so I didn't want to risk losing any by cleaning it too aggressively. The label on the front is badly faded, only the black ink can still be seen. The handle is wood and seems in good shape. Both caps are included, and the gasket for the large cap is still present. It seems pretty solid with very little rust, other than a bit of surface rust which I've tried to show in the photos. The last photo is of the inside of the can, and a bit of surface rust can be seen in it on the bottom of the can. There is a little rust ... moreon the threads of the caps. This is a Gasboy series 72 fuel transfer pump. This pump has been gone through by a local fuel service company and is in full working order. Pump was previously used on a diesel application. But is suitable for any fuel type. The motor is wired for 120 volt. Pump has 1" inlet and 3/4" outlet. Comes as is in photo with no accessories. The Wood Spool has marker written GATES 3/16" I.D 250 PSI NEOPRENE 650' on one of the spool wood round end ~ The Wood spool with hose weighs 45# pounds and the overall of the spool is 14" inches round x 16-1/2" inches long ~ The hose itself that is wound on the spool measures 10" inches round x 15-3/4" long. Unknown actual footage ~ I cut the shrink wrap at the end of the hose to photo the hose end and measure it.
