Please help me out on the positive identification of this very specialized sprayer. Mister or fogger unit if you can. I assume it would normally be used in an orchard to spray trees. One might use it to spray shelter belts for the pine beetles. It might also be used to spray road ditches on a quiet day. A friend in Colorado mentioned that he has seen a machine like this used to apply pesticide in a feed lot in an attempt to control flies in the manure. I bought this at a local sale a year ago for use in spraying the mountain pasture at the home ranch at Geraldine. My brother there decided to hire a helicopter instead. It will fit on different sizes of three point hitches and is set up to be run with a 540 RPM PTO. The drive pulley ratio can be changed to accommodate a 1000 RPM PTO if necessary. ... moreThe control crank at the front of the unit moves a cable that can tilt the discharge air duct to blow the air and chemical mixture at any angle to the right. Up or to the left. It is shown at the maximum left position in the left rear photo and in the maximum right position in the right rear photo. The discharge air duct has a pair of spray nozzles inside it as you can see in one of the photos. I have not tested the blower on this unit under power yet because I did not want to run the pump with no water in it. Everything was drained when I bought it so I believe nothing has been frozen or broken. This machine is 48" long by 30" wide and is about 58" tall. I would estimate that it weighs around 200 pounds dry. I live in Bozeman. Montana which is on I-90 below the middle of the state. That is where this sprayer is located and I travel quite a bit around a several state area. I can very likely deliver this to you for free or may be able to have a friend deliver it for a small fee. This auction is for a pair of W.H. Buckingham. Mfg Co. Binghamton, NY tree climbing spikes with belt and climbing rope. Spikes are marked with maker along with" LC-5 15 IN 425-Phila 45-55" Leather straps attached to them are in fair aged and used condition with waring to them. Straps are marked with Buckingham. Only tearing I can see is slight to the buckle holes. More like leather cracking or seperating. Belt is in fair condition with no tears to it or fraying. It has 2 metal loops which the climbing rope attaches to. They are in fair shape with sign of use but no cracks. Climbing rope is in fair used condition with little fraying. more like rope being scuffed slightly. Clips on rope are in fair condition and clip properly with clip springs tight. Main belt is 44" and belt ... moresinching strap is 52" Spikes themselves are approx 2" long. Rope including clips is 62" I am not an expert on this, so what you see is what you get. This is in good condition and I see no breaks or welds. Shaft turns freely. This is an extra that has been in storage. Never used it. Well. Cleaning out the barn can be a difficult thing, when I want to keep everything. This smudge pot is the best outdoor heater you can operate cheaply.
