Up for auction is an Emglo dual tank. Commercial grade. Air compressor. Made in the USA in Johnstown PA. The reputation for these machines for the quality and reliability is unmatched. I could not find a model number. But my guess is that it's about 20 years old. I acquired this machine and some other equipment in trade for my work; as a favor, to help out an ailing friend, and have no use for it myself. He was a building contractor and used it seasonally(to power several nail guns at once) It has been stored in his shop and has had only occasional use over the last 10 years. The motor is: Century Electric 1.5 hp 115 volt and can be adapted to 220 volt. It's not what you would call"pretty" but runs quietly and*continuously maintaining 120-125 psi. The tanks didn't leak but were very rusty so I decided to dis-assemble it and try offering the shippable pump unit alone! Prior to dis-assembly the compressor ran great. It pumped from 0 to 125 lbs. in 60 seconds. I'm including the brand new air filter element, that I put on it prior to offering it for sale, as well. I'm also including the drive belt. The crankcase breather looks like it may need to be replaced(see photo arrow) I believe it should probably be lying flat against the crankcase. A new one can be found here on ebay or any of many online vendors for just a few dollars. Obviously, the oil will be drained prior to shipping. The pump came off of an Emglo. But it is intact and color is vivid. Bottom is marked on plate with Air compressor Type 501 115 volts, 60 cycle a.c, 1.5 amp. The De Vilbiss Co. Somerset, Pennsylvania Patent D-174901. And there is number of ACD-35 on the under side of it. Cord is intact, and when tested, it does work. Rubber push button on top has a split to it. This is a nice small compressor!
